I'm pleased to announce that I have finally come to terms with the fact that *the giant project that I have worked on for years and years* has come of age. I have wrung my hands over and over for the last two months, wondering what oh what will I do now? It has been a painful process, watching my babies move into the world of "published novels." I have stopped obsessively tracking sales on Amazon. I have stopped carrying copies of the book around with me, just in case someone wants one.
Yes, I leave them in the car now. If you want one, I'll have to walk to the parking lot and get you one. You can swipe my Square reader and ta dah... Okay, so baby steps here admittedly, but you'd be surprised how many I sell sight unseen when someone hears I've written a book.
But I have accepted that Garrand and Sid must face their battles now without me. I have been blessed with fantastic readers, solid sales, and wonderful reviews. I hope to keep pushing the novels to a wider audience across the world, but for now the words, the characters, and the stories stand for themselves.
So the good news is I'm writing the next novel. Not just poking around at my notes, or jotting down scraps of dialogue but really writing. And it's amazing how happy it makes me to be getting into the thick of it again!
So without further ado, I have begun story boards for Book 5 in The Griffin universe. And that's all I'm going to tell you for now...
